## Style
16-bit era pixel art: a strict low resolution with every pixel deliberately placed, a limited palette of roughly sixteen to thirty-two colours, dithering used for gradients rather than smooth blends, and clean one-pixel outlines. Perspective is either flat side-on or classic three-quarter isometric.

## Motion
Sprite animation on a small number of frames — a walk cycle in six to eight frames, not sixty. Everything moves in whole-pixel steps: no sub-pixel sliding, no anti-aliased motion blur, no rotation that smears the grid. Backgrounds scroll in discrete parallax layers. Effects are animated palette cycling — water shimmer, neon flicker, a torch flame looping on four frames.

## Story — three acts in 30 seconds. Every beat contains an EVENT.
0:00–0:05  SETUP: A character walks right along a neon street at night. A cat sits on a crate ahead, tail flicking.
0:05–0:17  TURN: They stop and crouch, holding out one hand. The cat's ears flatten — it hesitates, then steps closer.
0:17–0:26  CONSEQUENCE: A shutter slams somewhere offscreen. The cat bolts into an alley in three quick sprite frames.
0:26–0:30  RESOLVE: The character stays crouched a beat with the empty hand out, then stands and walks on.

Do not pad with atmosphere. An empty landscape, a character merely walking, or a mood shot does not count as a beat — something must happen and the character must react to it. If the user supplies their own subject or scene, keep this four-beat shape and let their content fill it.

## Rules
- Commit to the style in every frame. Backgrounds, secondary props and lighting must all read as pixel art animation — no photorealistic texture bleeding through, no mixed-media look.
- The pixel grid must stay perfectly intact for all 30 seconds. Any blur, scaling artifact or sub-pixel movement breaks the illusion instantly.

What resolution should I generate at?

720p. The pixel art is rendered at a low internal resolution and scaled up cleanly — a higher output resolution keeps the pixel edges crisp rather than adding detail.

Can I match a specific game era?

Yes. Say 8-bit for a tighter palette and chunkier pixels, or 16-bit for the richer look this preset defaults to.
